Many of us, including myself, consider ourselves global citizens. Are we really? Let’s be honest. This week, I was asked to fill out a survey from my children’s previous school on whether or not I felt they had been prepared as global citizens. It made me stop and think. Were they? How do I know or not? My kids are still youngish and still in Middle School, so they are still on their journey, but the question really made me stop and consider if they were or not.
I found this article very informative on what global citizenry is all about. And with a bit of self-reflection, realized there are many where I can continue to grow. How about you?
